We wanted to have some fun with this page and shamelessly sell a few good products that we personally use and enjoy every day, whether on location or at the office, hence “Drilling Tools”.

Coffee has always played a big part in the Oilfield from sunup to sun down. It starts with that first cup at 3 am before getting on the road headed out to a rig driving the speed limit or not, or waking up on location to do a morning check and report by 6 am, meeting in the trailer for a short respite after being on your feet for 24-36 hrs. on the pits mixing LCM or on the choke controlling a gas kick or putting on a fresh pot to discuss the successful landing of a Long String casing job or not-UGH. We love our coffee! We came to realize the universal attraction to coffee when a couple of our buddies, a company man and drilling superintendent, both called to discuss the various bouquets washing over the back of the tongue from coffee we had introduced them to and not to show up unless we brought the coffee. we knew we had them hooked. If you like coffee you will love good coffee.

Art, oilfield related in particular, we enjoy. Whether from old oilfield calendars-Dwights Location Service or paintings, Howe’s “Boomtown”, Jerry Bywater’s “Oilfield Gals” to the universally recognized G. Harvey prints or vintage photographs from days gone by. You will have seen some examples throughout the website by now. We have no intention of making a profit on the artwork but if you find something you like we will provide the name of the artist and a gallery where they can be purchased. We do this in lieu of expensive royalties so we can use the art work throughout the website. Keep coming back as we will rotate new pieces frequently.
